Toy Story Midway Mania (Disneyland) and Toy Story Mania (Disney World) are a wildly popular ride where guests compete in a series of carnival-style games inspired by the Toy Story movies. To beat your friends and family, you’ll need to master some key strategies. These are 10 quick tips to use if you’re looking to get a higher score Toy Story Midway Mania! If you’re in the queue and wanting to increase your score before during the ride, follow these tips to rack up points and top the leaderboard!

Disneyland

  1. Use your wrist, not your whole arm, to rapidly pull the string and fire. This conserves energy for the entire ride.
  2. Hit moving targets like the horse, rooster, and mouse in Hamm & Eggs to flip the barn and increase point values.
  3. Pop the first balloon coming out of the volcano in Rex & Trixie’s Dino Darts to trigger an eruption of high-value tiny balloons.
  4. Shoot the two tossed plates on each side in Green Army Men Shoot Camp to activate tanks firing 3,000-point plates.
  5. Ring all eight aliens in the center spaceship in Buzz Lightyear’s Flying Tossers before they reappear to reveal a super high-value alien.
  6. In Woody’s Rootin’ Tootin’ Shootin’ Gallery, hit bullseyes to make them blossom into trees of targets, then clear those for even higher points.
  7. Shoot the bat near the top in the mine scene to activate a 5,000-point target.
  8. Hit every mine cart before it disappears to increase their point value up to 5,000 each.
  9. In the bonus round, rapidly fire at the large bullseye to increase its value up to 2,000 points.
  10. Work together with your ride partner to hit shared targets and maximize points.
